Itacaré International Literary Festival

The Northeastern Professional Surf Circuit is coming to Itacaré! On October 28th and 29th, in partnership with the Itacaré Surf Association, Praia da Tiririca will host the 3rd stage of the championship, bringing together athletes from the Men’s and Women’s professional categories to compete for a total prize purse of R$ 30,000. Get your board ready and start paddling—it’s going to be insane!

It’s officially on! Registration is now open for the first stage of the 2026 Bahia Surf Circuit. The competition will take place from October 30th to November 1st in Itacaré, bringing together athletes from the youth and masters divisions for another great celebration of surfing in Bahia. Secure your spot!

Todo sábado tem Samba e Pagode pé na areia, com entrada gratuita, na Cabana Corais! Começa cedo, é sempre a partir das 21h!

Every Wednesday, Ritimia takes place at Bar Zero Uma, on the Itacaré waterfront, featuring DJs DFRNC and Orixafricano. The party starts at 8:00 PM.

Samba.

Sunsets in Itacaré are getting a live soundtrack. On December 11th and 12th, the "Cacau Jazz" event arrives at Mirante do Xaréu, featuring six musical performances and other activities designed to bring together locals and visitors exploring Southern Bahia. Jazz, a sea breeze, and two late afternoons to enjoy at a leisurely pace—bring your friends along! Admission is free.

Aruá offers a new way to experience New Year's Eve in Itacaré. Over the course of nine days, music, sports, wellness, nature, and Brazilian culture come together in a program that runs from sunrise to sunset. During the day, guests can enjoy outdoor activities. At night, Aruá shifts gears with four open-bar parties. There are also special Samba and procession events that are open to the public.
